How We Can Help
Three steps, starting with a free conversation
Free Consultation
The first conversation is free. We hear what happened, tell you honestly whether you appear to have a claim, and explain your deadline.
We Prove What The App Was Doing
Which policy answers for your crash depends on the driver's app status at the moment of impact. That record sits with the rideshare platform, so we request the trip data early and match it against the police report and the scene.
We Pursue Every Policy That Applies
A rideshare crash can reach the driver's own insurer, the platform's cover and the other driver's policy, sometimes all three. We find each one and negotiate for the most the facts support. If the insurers will not deal fairly, our trial lawyers file suit.

Common questions
What People Ask After An Uber Or Lyft Crash
What does a rideshare accident lawyer cost?
We take rideshare cases on a contingency fee, so there is no upfront fee or cost to you and no charge for the initial consultation. We are paid a percentage of the recovery, and if we do not recover money for you, you owe us no attorney fee. The specific percentage and how case costs are handled are set out in a written fee agreement that you read and sign before we represent you.
I was a passenger in an Uber or Lyft. Do I have a claim?
Usually yes, and passengers are in the strongest position of anyone in the car. A passenger is almost never blamed for the crash, so the argument is not about your fault. It is about which driver caused it and which policy has to answer for it.
You can have a claim whether your own driver caused the crash or the other one did. Call us and we will work out which.
Whose insurance pays after a rideshare crash?
It depends on what the app was doing at the moment of the crash, and that is the whole reason these cases are different. A driver who was offline is treated like any other private motorist. A driver who was logged in and waiting for a request sits under one tier of the platform's cover. A driver who was on the way to collect a passenger, or had one in the car, sits under another.
That means the first job is proving the driver's app status at the moment of impact, and the platform is the one holding that record. We ask for it early.
An Uber or Lyft driver hit me. I was not in the car.
Same analysis, and it applies to you too. If you were in another vehicle, on a bike or on foot, what the driver's app was doing still decides which policy is on the hook.
People in this position often deal only with the driver's personal insurer and never learn that a second policy existed. It is worth one free call to find out.
The app sent me a settlement offer. Should I take it?
Not before someone reads it. An early offer usually arrives before anyone knows whether your injury is permanent, and accepting it normally means signing a release that closes your claim for good, including for treatment you have not had yet.
There is no cost to having us look at it first.
What should I do right now?
Get checked by a doctor, even if you feel able to walk away. Then save what you already have: the trip receipt or ride history in the app, the driver's name, screenshots of the trip, any photos from the scene, and the police report number.
The trip record is the piece people delete or lose first, and it is the one that proves the ride existed.
How long do I have to bring a claim in Georgia?
Georgia sets a filing deadline, and it is shorter than most people expect. The date that applies depends on the kind of claim and on who you are claiming against, so call us and we will tell you yours.
Waiting costs more than the deadline, though. App records and trip data are held by the platform on its own schedule, not yours.
